President
Melissa Evans-Woods
Melissa is a Sumter County School System graduate. She has an Associate's and Bachelor's of Art Degree in English, a Master's Degree in Education Administration, and a Master's Degree with Ordination in Theology. Mrs. Woods is currently the Associate Pastor of Mt. Olive Missionary Baptist Church of Cuba, AL. She is proud retiree with 28 years of service to the Sumter County School System.
She is married to Fred L. Woods. Together they have 6 children, 16 grandchildren, and 2 great-grand children.

Vice President
Jastassia White
Jastassia currently serves as Dean of Students at North Forrest High School, located in Hattiesburg, MS. She serves students in grades 7-12. She is a Mississippi State University alumni, where she received an undergraduate degree in Interdisciplinary Studies, a Master’s Degree in Counseling, and a Specialist’s Degree in Educational Leadership.
Jastassia serves as First Vice President of Delta Kappa Gamma Society, Alpha Gamma Chapter, a member of the Christian Tabernacle Church of the Apostolic Faith, and a member of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Incorporated, Lambda Kappa Zeta Chapter.
Jastassia has volunteered for many community organizations but is most excited to be a board member for Divine Girls Coalition. In her downtime, she enjoys reading and spending quality time with her family.
Secretary/Treasurer
Myra Jean Jackson
Myra is a proud Hale County School Graduate. She has a Bachelor's of art Degree in PSC/Mathematics and Early Childhood/ Elementary Education, a Masters Degree in Early Childhood/Elementary Education and School Counseling. Ms. Jackson also holds an Educational Specialist Degree in Curriculum and Instruction.
Myra has worked for UA/UWA AMSTI for 14 years. She served as a classroom teacher in Selma City Schools for 9 years and Memphis City Schools for 1 year.
She is a member of the New Jerusalem Baptist Church where she serves as a Trustee, Financial Secretary and a member of two Choirs.
She loves children, but unfortunately, does not have any of her own; however, she has been blessed with twin GOD children, Taylor and Tyler , 13 nieces and nephews , and 8 great nieces and nephews .
